Does anyone know what the highest boost someone is running with the Comptech S/C with stock internals? I'm thinking 11psi with RC 650cc injectors and AEM EMS. Think it's possible?

 

11psi w/ an A/W intercooler is very feasable with tuning and enough fuel.


and 650cc's would be a good size, to give you some room to work with and still idle decent.

Tuned, of course.

 

Possible? Yes. Recommended?

 

11:1 compression ratio and 11psi is ridiculous on pump gas. that wouldn't last long at all unless you are dumping in enough fuel to practically hydrolock the car.

 

isnt comptechs blower for our car only good for about 14 psi?

 

i have the votech supercharger in my car, and had it installed buy a guy that builds race engines, he set my boost at 8 psi.
he said that you can run 8 psi saftly with no problems ,if you run more without internals done to your engine you are just asking for trouble.
And trust me when i hit v-tec it is eveything i can do to keep the car in a straite line. the car is a monster with this boost.
