Tuning question on inline pro stage 1
Hey guys,
Just had a quick question, I'm looking into picking up a boost actuated cutout exhaust system for my stock exhaust. I hate the drone mostly all aftermarket exhaust systems have and wanted the best of both worlds. Ive heard and read good reviews in regards to these systems.
My question is in regards to tuning. Currently on WOT, im running around 11.1-11.4 once the boost kicks in and goes to redline. I know once I install this, that it should run leaner on top but how much who knows. If I install it, do I only need to worry about the Air/fuel? Does the timing or anything else change when just changing out the exhaust. I know I can get it retuned but that would add another 250-300 ontop of this and wanted to see my options first. If it stays around 11.4-11.7, with the cut out, would that be safe to run? I have always heard that you have to be under 12 for any FI application.
