Testing in the last couple of days resulted in an increase of fuel of about 7% over the whole bandwidth. fuel mapping looks good again so hopefully some good runs today and see what happens.

The engine sounds completely different now, much smoother in both non vtec as vtec. The BC cams don't lift more but the duration is longer. This may be different with the stage2 NA BC cams, i'm guessing they have more lift.

Ok, fresh from the dyno.

Bleu: First we tested the stock cams at 0.9 bar, set timing as far as performance will improve. Result 455hp.

Red: Then we tested the Brian Crower stage 2 turbo cams at 0.9 bar as reference. Result 511hp

Black: Finally, before calling it a night, we ran some tests on 1.2 bar. Result a healthy 550hp

The graph is in Nm and KW. Used fuel is 91 because we can't get higher octane fuel everywhere here nowadays, which sucks but what can you do.

We'll push the engine further in coming week and see where we end up with. Problem is timing is dropping 4 points every 0.3 bar.

Yes that's my engine. We've been working on it for some time now to solve all the problems we've had with it.

We didn't expect the difference to be that big either, actually we had no idea just like alot of ppl.

Basically the standard port/polish with new valves/double springs etc..
We also used the IP intake manifold which probably helps in that the power doesn't drop at higher rpm's. I guess this engine wants >10k but it's not going to get it for daily use.
Turbo's a GT35R devided with twin scroll manifold made by Pfab.
