Yuri ran bc stage 2 turbo cams; real street is talking about and running BC stage 2 NA cams, which I think were the ones that caused problems until they were redesigned years ago, but by then the damage had been done to the reputation of all the BC cams.

Sorry I didn't mean to confuse anyone. This thread was about TURBO cams, that's why I posted the results.

I've been reading the threads as well and seems alot of ppl think these cams stink and if you should try some cams... try the BC stage 2 NA cams instead.

We got in touch with BC before we ordered the cams and asked what they had for our application. They recommended the stage2 Turbo cams. We thought it was worth a shot.

Thanks for taking a leap of faith and actually trying SOME cams!

so power also comes on about 500 rpms sooner?
Yep, that's right

Same boost level, adjusted fuel to get same afr. We were also able to run 1 point more timing with these cams over the whole range as well. So that helps ofcourse.

More timing on the stock cams didn't make any difference, on these it did.

1 degree didnt = 60whp, so damn those cams actually deliver.

when i gave my opinion on them for a stock block guy, my thinking is this. i run 450whp, if i strapped those cams on, im not sure i could gain much power from them because i am still on pump gas, and pump gas can only support so much power regardless. i could be completely wrong though.

either way, cant argue the results you are seeing, that is straight nasty.

You can absolutely make more on pump gas if you can extend your torque to higher engine speeds with different cams.

Point is though there is no reason to be scared about the Brian Crower stuff. It works great and is very affordable compared to the other cams out there like Toda.

I'm very happy to see your results Yuri and I will let you guys know what my results are when we test them.
Great, let us know. More setups with these cams will give a better picture.

Tomorrow we'll see how far we can go with the boost level. I'll post the results. We wanted to run E85 as well but at the moment there's no point since AEM hasn't come up with the software yet to mix the maps. I want to be able to run the combination of normal fuel and E85. Pure E85 isn't an option here since it's really hard to get and it's bloody expensive (more than 2 euro per litre).

so if all goes well, tomorrow end results on pump gas 91.
