so your stock cam vs bc sage 2 turbo cam runs where at same timing and boost, just adjusted fuel to get same afr?

dang, i may have to stick my foot deep inside my mouth.

if they dont destroy your head then perhaps they are worth it for guys that have built engines.

for anyone else, just turn the boost up to max on pump gas and be done. cams wont make you run more power on pump piss.

if you can make a little more power at slightly lower boost level, that wouldn't be safer?

Same boost level, adjusted fuel to get same afr. We were also able to run 1 point more timing with these cams over the whole range as well. So that helps ofcourse.

More timing on the stock cams didn't make any difference, on these it did.

Well I don't know how long BC has had these cams. It looks like they did alot of research in making them ..... or were just very lucky lol.

Main thing that they changed is that they increased duration on the valves so they stay open longer. The hight looks the same so that means the valves don't open further than stock.

1 degree didnt = 60whp, so damn those cams actually deliver.

when i gave my opinion on them for a stock block guy, my thinking is this. i run 450whp, if i strapped those cams on, im not sure i could gain much power from them because i am still on pump gas, and pump gas can only support so much power regardless. i could be completely wrong though.

either way, cant argue the results you are seeing, that is straight nasty.

Not sure how much more proof you need.

And where are all the "Brian Crower cams are crap/destroyed my motor" threads? I remember YEARS ago a local shop here in Tampa (that has since gone out of business due to shady business practices) tried a set of cams and "lost power". After that I never heard anything, positive or otherwise, about them until I saw Real Street running them this year.

You spoke as if these cams are a known bad. I'm on these boards every single day and I don't remember seeing what you're talking about.

there were atleast two or three different threads that had these cams destroying top ends of motors. and the seller that sold them took them all back and stopped selling them when this all happened.

its a board, we all share what we see. dig and you will find.
