Default turbo and EGT temps

What are you guys seeing for EGT temps and what turbo are you running? I'm getting the basic greddy kit and wondering what temp manifold coating I should go with? I assume something good to 1700F would be fine?

I've never seen anything hotter then ~1400F and thats when my fuel pump was crapping out (running very lean).

On average I see 900-1200F.

is the wrapper adequate?

The downpipe / manifold will always be that hot, its designed to flow 1000+ degree gases through it

Headerwrap actually makes the pipes hotter so if anything, that would be a bad thing for what you want to do

I am not sure what the exact EGTs are supposed to be. On my wife's Evo, they vary so much it is crazy. The EGTs vary depending on what gear I am in and what load the engine is under. The EGTs have gotten as high as 1600 degrees under WOT though. Cruising temps seem to be around 1200 degrees.
