Turbo Head Builder Options

valve failure is pretty rare and when it does happen its always on the exhaust side. I personally run super tech .5mm oversized super tech inconel exhast valves, bronze valve guides, super tech titanium retainers and duel springs all with stock oem intake valves. Valve job and work done by tom at port flow.

It seems all shops that port and polish the head can obviously get both exhaust and intake side to flow more cfm but they also claim to be able to get exhaust side cfm to flow even more than the intake side. Even though from the factory intake valves are already bigger than exhaust valves it comes i wonder how this size difference should change as the exhaust port is made to flow even more than intake port?

Looks like im going to be the guinea pig, I went with 4Piston Racing. Port and Polish head, Manganese Bronze valve guides, Ferrea S101000 spring kit, Ferrea Retainers, Ferrea competition plus oem size super alloy valves, and cnc open the combustiom chamber. Will post up the flowchart when i get it back.

Avoid the wait and have an extra cylinder head for about the same cost.
