Just curious, but why spend all that time and money for only 7-8 psi when the stock engine can handle 15-16 psi on pump gas?
15-16psi is too much for a daily driver on pump gas, been there done that. I would run 10-12psi and be happy with whatever WHP I made.
Totally.
8-10 psi is more than enough for me. Again, I want to get them as early as possible along the RPM range, I have my friend's Vortech V2 supercharged with 15PSI and another friend's inline pro turboed
I like them both (the both make around 400WHP), but not really interested with this much power, I like the car NA already, and if it wasn't the turbo feel, the sudden boost and the sound, I wouldn't think of boosting it.
so it's the combination, a bit more power/torque on low RPM (what the S2000 lacks), around 320-350 WHP (Which I think is the ideal for the car, I use to wish they made V6 3.0 360HP NA S2000), and the turbo feel/sound when spooling/ waste-gate.

I also drove my friends cars mainly (EVOs with 500-600+ WHP), a Twin turbo 350z
it's very fast yet, doesn't interest me. I don't think I'm this addicted to this level of power. And when it comes to drag is just fun on which ever level you're in. You just need a competitor with the same level to enjoy it.

Again, don't want to sacrifice reliability much.

Waiting the SOS twinscroll solution, they must be confident to organise a tuner shootout.

If you'd be happy w/ low ~300whp, I'd consider looking into a greddy kit. Many cars (especially ap2s) seem to be able to easily crack 300whp w/ a straight pipe. It's an overall nice kit, you don't have the loud wastegate that dumps to atmosphere. The only downside I've read is that the manifolds crack after a while, but no kit is perfect. There are replacements that aren't expensive. Some folks have said the greddy kit doesn't do too well on the track. I'm not sure if that's due to underhood temps (which would be an issue on any turbo car) or the fact that the turbo is only oil cooled vs. oil and water.

yup, i remember when i only wanted 300hp.. now im waiting for bigger injectors and have another tune scheduled. LOL. its addicting man. but honestly i wouldnt go with the greddy kit. ive only heard shit stories about them. inline pro, kings performance, pfab all sells good reliable kits for the power range your looking for. i would also go with 1000cc injectors just in case the day comes when 350hp gets boring. later down the road things will change and this way you will still have options. trust me i learned the hard way. like most of us have lol.

Looks good & subtle, just the little bump the car lacks.

Something like that kit looks good and should be fairly reliable. Nice to see some log setups that have a recirc dumptube so you don't wake the dead when you hit boost and for emissions purposes.

They even have a short runner mani for this kit too, that's the one I plan on running
