Will the V-mount setup be available for purchase or is it a purely custom application?
The v-mount will be available for purchase once it is completed to my satisfaction. The intercooler has been designed and the oiling system is being changed quite a bit.

It will be severely tested in road-race conditions.

I will post specs in R&C once it is finalized.

Would a tubular manifold have proven durable enough for this kind of abuse? It sounds like his races can be pretty testing on hardware.
Tubular manifolds will eventually eventually, we all know this. The merits of a cast manifold are clear, but as Tim pointed out, so are the issues.

The stress and heat-cycling from the street might cause fatigue sooner than 15 events for one road-race season. I suppose time will tell which application of utility will deem more punishing.

One thing a lot dont know or understand is water/methonal injection.

With an Aquamist kit spraying 50/50 water/meth you will see intake temps drop 60-75 degrees! EGTS drop 200-400 degrees, in cylinder temps will drop 40-50 degrees and oil temps 20-40 degrees!!!! Not to mention the higher boost and more power you can make!

A majority of your tracking Evos use this. 95% of rally cars who see the harshest of conditions use this, why? because they see low speeds so they dont get enough air to penetrate their many coolers. so they use water to cool the motor keeping it reliable.

I personaly use this on my evo and see 75 whp and tq gains from it. I run 32 psi on 91 oct no knock all day here in dry/hot AZ.

OP if what your saying is true, it will seem the only way to achive a trackable turbo S is with addition of water/methonal injection. V mounts will help, but water will be key.
