well, I didn't read the whole thread but on the cooling, did you try a air-water intercooler, or w/m? Or do these cause other issues under extreme road racing conditions?

I use the 2D but the new hotness especially for road race and drag is the Aquamist HFS-5. It copies your duty cycle of you fuel injectors. So as the load increases so does you water/fuel ratio. Also it activates according to load instead of a boost switch.

here is some more info

Your right though... its a lot of fun!
I was under the impression that the 2D model has a higher output and or quality pump as compared to the HFS-5. Am I retarded?

Quality yes but volume no. The nice part about the 2d's "race" pump its magnetic and extreemly reliable and great for small (under 500 cc) amount of injection. The HFS-5 pump is a Aquamist spec shurflow (same as everyone elses) its the rest of the kit that makes it so great. with the large amount of flow with the ability to moniter it with the DDS3 it is the a better package. Richard from Aquamist is working on a kit like the HFS5 but one that uses the Aquamist pump. GL

What about running better grade of oil...some sort of race oil. Wont that keep the oil temps down as well?

I believe Jae from gtmotoring has done many track days with his 450whp s2k with zero heat problems. Oh with no oil cooler although not w2w but still out there for 20min. I can not remember what oil he was running but he said it was all about the oil since it wont break down like the off the shelf stuff.

Evan, where would you recommend spraying the meth? I will only be doing track days and really do not want to get rid of my turbo set up just to track the car.
