i think i would be cool if you can make a carb legal turbo that can out power the comptech SC. but thats still not to to fly with any CA cops. i'm seting up a kit my self and the last thing i'm think is carb legal because card legal and power dont' mix. still cool if you guys make it

Hopefully you won't make one that is as of bad quality as the one you did for the RX8. People had all sorts of problems with the tuning from your Emanage, to missing parts, to defective parts so far. Not making a good name for yourself. But you have been given enough time with the S2K being out for a while. Just the first few S2K owners who buy these should watch out.

Greddy kits are over priced and under powered.

You end up paying for a sticker that says it is emmisions legal, and then you bolt it on and inform the insurance company so it is covered in case of a loss and they inform you that they don't cover cars with drastic modifications that give big HP increases.
CARB legal does not mean that your insurance company is going to cover your car, CARB legal is for emision, and insurance if to cover in case something goes wrong.
Installing a Turbo, SC, exhasut... increases your probabilities of having an accident on the street or track. the probabilitiy varies deppening on the driver on of car.

If it is CARB legal I understand that there is premiun on price on similar kits an is normal, one is legal, passes tested by the regulator, and the other is not.

A SC which increases the middle torque would be very interested. The two brands available for the S, Vortech and Comptech, make power on the end of the curve.
A SC would be more easily to sell outside US, basicaly Europe since the dollar is so weak makes prices very interested, where there is not much knowledge regarding the S.

I had to search, investigate, ask a lot here in order to have the turbo running perfect here. (the tuner was from US)

and make an exhaust for our car for pete's sake. greddy makes fabulous exhaust for every other honda - why not the top of the line unit? now you could make 2 versions - N/A and Turbo - and thats not getting into single exit or dual exit. hell - just make something that sounds awsome (i.e. not ricey) and gets some hp gains. cmon - you guys arent new to the market - now get out there and make us s2k guys proud.

I use some greddy electronics, but I wouldn't run their engine program... I don't see a point really, especially since they've not bothered to develop anything for the car yet... If I were driving a 240 with an SR swap, hell yeah... but I'm not, and I wouldn't bother personally... There are too many other companies that got in and made a strong name for themselves, I think the greddy kit would more appeal to younger guys who just sold their civics for a used S2k... not trying to be a dick, but that would be your target audience, since they have the company name engraved in their heads as being quality...

I would be interested in a carb legal turbo.

One suggestion, go HIGH quality and not high integra qualtiy if you know what I mean.

With all this talk about Greddy developing a FI setup for the S.

In there near future is there going to be a specific firmware update for the E-manage-ULT for the S to easy select the engine code and setup some of the initial EMU settings.

Any idea when Greddy will be offering a S2k specific wiring harness for the E-man-ULT.

I am champing at the bit to go FI. I have the money in hand and am debating to build a single remote turbo setup, wait for the Axial supercharger to get done.

With any of theses setup I am looking at going with the Greddy E-manage-ULT

yeah if they do decide to make the kit it should come with a pre-tuned e-manage plus the e man. ult . harness is all universal it's just a matter of you hookin it up, extra downloading software, another thing is hondata doesn't make anything for the s, that i know of well we work with hondata so it could open a new market with hondata
