The GT35R will spool around the same time. Go find Kutsujula's Dyno Graph and you will see.
no it wont, the 30R will spool 500rpm faster every time. His 30R had a larger comp wheel and a 35R turbine wheel hence the spool being the same...

It might have been. Someone said I had a gt30r I have to check the paperwork and see if it says on there exactly what it is.
If you want 500whp capable and quick spool you cant do better than a GT3076R .82 turbine.

I apologize for my misinformation. Still, 500RPM isn't much when you consider how much more power the GT35R is capable of.

if spool time is a concern what manifold are you using? change to a equal length, faster spool time and make more power per lbs of boost!
log manifold 10hp per lbs of boost
equal lenth 15hp per lbs of boost.

so if you were running 10lbs of boost on a log you should be at 100 FI hp + 220 normal engine hp - 320 hp

or if you were running 10lbs of boost on a equal you should be at 150 FI hp + 220 normal engine hp - 370 hp

Thank you, Im glad someone had to say it before I did! What are your power goals? What is the car being used for? How much cash can you spend? Kinda pointless unless we know a little more. There is no point in using a GT35R or bigger with a cast manifold. Buy yourself a nice tubular mani!

My Lovefab manifold is beautiful! It just takes awhile to get cody moving. Full Race or Lovefab would be the best choice. You cannot go wrong with either.

GT3071R - I had this for a little less than a year, but the turbo is AMAZING! Especially for the stock block.

GT3076 - The next best thing or the best thing on a stock motor.

GT3582R - This turbo is going with my built motor and should suffice for the 500-600WHP daily driving goals.

I hope this helps these are my 3 favorite turbos either from experience or research!
