Well said Joey.

I'd say go with a SC because you like the way it looks, the way it sounds, or the way it's priced. Just as long as you don't say that you think it offers a superior powerband to a turbocharger, then I don't think the turbo guys will ever argue with you. Test drive an S2K with a properly sized (medium frame) turbo, back to back with a SC'ed one, and then make your decision. Either way, have fun boosting.

Compound charging <3

Will get the low end kick from the turbo and the high end rpm pull of the sc. Turbo size would be difficult to pick, need it small enough to spool quick, but not so small to cause a restriction on the sc intake.
It’s an interesting concept, but I wonder if that combination could effectively exist on our motor. I think any turbo that would have an effective enough low rpm spool, would be a restriction when the SC is at full tilt. I'm just thinking of all the blower and turbo combinations out there and I cant think of one off the top of my head that wouldnt have some impacting compromise to the goal.

That’s like saying real men Drive Mustangs, and in a strait line. Same mentality. Except that’s all those cars can do well. If you like ‘dumbing’ down your s2000 to fit your needs that’s your prerogative, but don’t mistake that for being better, or more Manly

Sorry I couldnt resist
