yup I was thinking the same.

You guys would be surprised at how cool the local machine places are. I started by having some wheels sand blasted, then some small brackets made, pulley on a small lathe doesn't require programming it's a circle measure, spin up scrap billet aluminum I guaranty they have from bigger other projects.

Never hurts to support the locals, meet some people face to face, and have someone who knows you when you can't just grab an off the shelf item. You would be surprised at how fair the prices are since many many people don't use them.

I doubt SOS makes their own pulleys, I'm sure they design and test them then just hire a shop local to them to crank out a few dozen when they need them.

Make sure you get one that has a lip on the sides to prevent the belt from slipping off.
Any recommendations?

Yeah get the machine shop to replicate the smaller puly exactly except for the diameter which would be bigger. What's so hard to figure out?

just new to this wasn't sure if buying from a company like SOS would be better, but thanks for coming off like a d1ck.

Listen kid, you need to not be so sensitive, I spelled it out for you and answered the question at a level even you would understand. I wasn't trying to offend just pointing out you should try to maybe use that thing in your head with a pinch of common sense.

Asking for help on something so commonly covered that could easily be figured out by using google and a few minutes of reading.

Grow some thicker skin and use your head.

Kid? I'm 25 and you're really tough from your keyboard. People like you ruin good forums because you discourage others from asking questions. Grow up, "kid"

The funny part is you calling me a kid when I would never be so ignorant to insult a beginner in anything... Older guys in the gym always ask questions about squats and other stuff, lets just say i don't tell them to google it.

To everyone else, I'm not an asshole and don't like to fight with other members but the previous post was completely uncalled for. I'm a nice guy

Ive done both turbo and supercharger. I like both. The turbo sounds amazing and provides soo much power. My only critcism of turbos (except manifold cracks) is that they completely change the character of the s2000 engine. Big lumps of torque at low rpm ? Some people may like that as they previously complained of no torque, personally i think the magical character of the s2000 is lost when a turbo is bolted on.

The Supercharger power delivery is exactly how an s2000 should deliver. Nothing below 6000 Well thats not exactly true but you know what i mean. My car now pulls through 4th gear like it used to pull through 2nd when it was NA. Also if you recirculate your blow off valve the dump isnt really audible and the car almost sounds like NA, which is pretty cool when your faster than everything on the road
