Some get cars to drive them..some buy a cheap turbo kit just for the BOV sound...some turn their classy interior into KITT and some want a rear mounted twin turbo kit only to be able to say they have it and hope to get some points on the next country-side car-show..period
Actually it's called innovation. If there where not people trying new things there would be no progress in the industry.

Hold on please ....since when is putting parts on a car just to collect points on a car show called inovation? Since when is ruining a dash board on a classic car called inovation?
Haven't been around for some time, so maybe that's why
When in FL for vacation next week( tuning NA with a Greddy e-manage Ultimate) I will be gathering ideas on how to mount the rear turbo.
Best guess ideas so far. in no particular order
1) mount the turbo where the resonator was with 3" exhaust going to the right side bullet muffler. and the waste gate pipe going to the left muffler side.
2) mount the turbo on the right side muffler area with the out put of the turbine going directly to ambient through a modified OEM exhaust tip ( to retain factory look). with the wastage pipe again going over to the left.
3) mount the turbo in the resonator/ exhaust split area see picture.
I think this is going to be the simplest and still retain the factory look of the exhaust
I want he exhaust deep but not loud
Rite now with out actually getting the turbo in hand and doing some test fitting I think this is the way to go.
I think you could fit a small turbo in place of the catalytic converter. You could have an 45 degree elbow imediately after the header going into the turbine, and another 45 degree elbow after the turbine to meet back up with the existing exhaust placement. No changes would need to be made to the header or exhaust systems. My only concern is intake placement and obviously compressor outlet piping. I'm not sure there would be a significant amount of room to route the charge piping back to the front of the car. Not without having it extend dangerously lower than ideal.
Anyone have a detailed under-body picture of this area of the car (Cat-forward)?
