Has anyone thought of mounting the turbo underneath the car similar to the aps turbo for the z?
I think it would be cool to hide the turbo and throw on a air to water to keep it stealthy.

I used a bottom mounted turbo (GT35R) with a water-air intercooler. Very stealth with a closed hood.

I'm with slimjim on this 100%
IMO the STS is a stupid idea for the S2000. If you think it has good reviews then go install it on your car while we point and laugh at your 5 seconds of turbo lag. Sure it'll be an improvement on most vehicles over stock, does it make sense???? Not really unless your looking for the specific requirements it meets. Fact is having to charge 50 feet of pipes (exaggeration) is simply ridiculous on a small motor like the F20/22c. Were talking about the oposite of normal happening on the way to the turbo here as well, now the gas is decreasing in temp by the time it gets to the turbo so no (less) expansion of gas is recognized, thus a decrease in efficiency. If were talking something that can already turn big TQ numbers as a N/A vehicle like say a 4.6 now perhaps we have a product, however I'd never bother with that anyway because a dual GT35R setup on the 4.6 would just kick the @#$@ out of it in my opinion. I see no point to keep discussing the STS system for a stealth turbo setup. I do think that the turbo in place of the cat is a good idea, especially being able to use the stock headers and all. Now were talking a reasonable setup, however that turbo will have to be fairly small and not too much can be expected out of the setup IMO.
Lets keep the directly made rude comments to a minimal, especially if were talking with someone like slimjim who actually understand some fundamental concepts of how things work.
