Update: Greddy Turbo Kit Dyno
At 13psi and 2mmHG your effective compression ratio is only 18.5 or so. Based on that, your torque numbers down low seem to be correct. Right now my ECR is 18.6
Like it says above, you'll need to boost higher (like you are planning) and then hopefully there is enough of a flow gain to offset the extra heat due to adiabatic inefficiency.
It will be interesting to see what happens.

Cant you upgrade to a 3071 thats internally gated on the greddy manifold? I know you can on the scion tc kit but Im not sure if thats possible on the s2k kit? If not what about a 20G? Is there a reason greddy made the dp so small, was it to mate to the stock exhaust ?

there is a guy in the UK putting a 20G compressor wheel into the 18G housing; we'll see how it turns out..
do you think the 3071 would yield much benefit? i know my friend on stock compression and 7 lbs is getting about 360-375whp on a tubular manifold.. how much would you lose from going to a tubular to log manifold?

Doubtful, its a carb legal turbo kit. There is only so much you can do which is why, when you buy this kit, you must realize 300 IS the limit; nothing more.
Saying 300 is the ABSOLUTE LIMIT, well I would imagine its not, yeah its the limit "out of the box", however not with upgradeable parts...........
