According to many of the S2000 masters PT# 30520-PNA-007 are the coil that will put down the power and not have issues. The cheapest I can find them shipped is right at $300 for a set.

All of the following and some others are PNP and look nearly identical but they are not the same.

30520-PNA-007---------$72 ea
30520-RRA-007---------$42 ea
30520-PCX-007---------$89 ea
30520-PZX-007---------$66 ea

**Price w/o shiping and handleing or tax

this website lists 30520-PNA-007 as an OEM s2k coil and they have it for 200. This is the correct part # right?

After being confused by the above post I looked into this myself. It seems that the AP1's 2000-2003 all have the older 30520-PCX-007, while AP2's share the same coil with the RSX, 30520-PNA-007. So RSX coils would only really be an upgrade for AP1 owners.

I am going to purchase the RSX coils for piece of mind. At 200.00 for the set of 4 to not have to worry about missfires thats cheap as far as im concerned.

the part number 30520-PNA-007 has been replaced with 30520-RRA-007. According to honda the RRA is an upgrade so even if you order the PNA, honda will send you the RRA. I hope this helps...

Are you sure, because according to majestic honda these plugs are $40each versus $70each for the 30520-PNA-007? I would love to know the difference between them, and if they in fact do perform as an upgrade from what Honda claims

Cheers,
Joe

When I called Majestic and other dealerships, they told me that they have the PNA coils in their database, but when they place the order Honda will send them the RRA coils because they replaced the PNA coils. I ordered a set of the PNA's from a dealership and instead recieved the RRA's. I am not sure if what they told me is wrong or what they told you is wrong... Just to make sure I called multiple Acura/Honda dealerships and they all gave me the same info... I'm going to check with my buddy who works for Honda of lisle, i'm sure he can get some info..

oh ya I also found the PNA at hodapartsnow.com for $44...
OK, so which one should I be ordering?

well, it depends on where you order it from because some places will still have the PNA's in their database and they will tell you that they are going to send you the PNA's. However, Honda will more than likely has sent them the RRA's. So before you order a set I would have them physically check the actual part number on the box they are sending you. I was told the RRA's are an upgrade to the PNA's from one of the dealerships that I spoke to, not sure if it actually is an upgrade or not though.. hope this helps...

I bet the part # wont matter since Ive read the K series forums and it seems like no matter what the power level people have no issues with those coils.

So if I understand this right, the AP2 guys should not be having any kind of problems at all
