Upgrading the Boost
April 1st of this year I purchased a Comptech Supercharger with Aftercooler for my 00' Berlina S2. Same time as the install we installed a 7psi pulley that i had ordered from Tech2 & dynoed the car for 319whp & 180.5tq on a dyno-pak setup. Well, over these past few months I have become a Sith and want more power for personal gain
I'm planning to purchase a few things to allow me to do so, but would also like any type of advise/assistance that I can get from other members from S2Ki. No, i wont hold any of you to any opinions you give.. i know what i do to my car is what i do to my car and i am responsible for anything that happens.
So here goes..
I am in the process currently of trying to locate a merchant who either sells or can fabricate me a 12psi pulley for my NOVI 1000 Comptech Unit (from what i am understanding speaking with a friend this is a 3.19" pulley). Knowing good and well once i upgrade to this much boost I am going to need larger injectors & some sort of engine management. So in turn I am looking to upgrade to 650cc injectors and an AEM EMS 1052-U for tuning. As well I will be contacting Alaniz shortly to order Ti Retainers and Competition Inner Valve Springs so I can up the redline on the motor to 9300rpms, possibly 9500rpms
Current Information on Car:
Does anyone know where I can locate a 12psi pulley?
Does anyone have any recommendation on injector sizes?
thanks in advance

I'll probably catch some amount of shit for this but i think you should scrap the S/C and go turbo. IMO the S/C is fine if you're satisfied with it out of the box and don't want too much more out of it.
Chad, I recommend you talk to Sideways (Phil.) One thing to keep in mind is that he has a Vortech setup, but a lot of his mods are not brand specific to Vortech. Meaning they are related to air flow (i.e Alaniz.) He should be able to guide you in the right direction.

It may surprise you, but some people simply DON'T CARE about your turbo! If you're happy with it, good for you. You don't need to get more people to jump on the bandwagon to help you justify your choice.
When you see a thread that is about choosing between a S/C and a turbo, by all means, jump in. THIS ISN'T ONE OF THEM!
RZFD has a point. The SCs are great stock. And you can add a smaller pulley and get a bit more joy, but you're at the thin end of the wedge. Fine for a Sith Apprentice but you know one day you'll cut the Master's throat and usurp his position.
And usually when we crave more power it's actually torque or early power that we want. That's where a turbo really shines over an SC.
That said, the upgrades you're planning are mostly good stepping stones to a turbo solution. If you decide to upgrade you won't have wasted money on the AEM or injectors.

Turbo had problem after problem with his car and i realize reliability with a turbo is much less than reliability with a supercharger
I won't bore you with all the threads I've collected about turbo problems. If you want to see them, just ask and I'll provide them.
Just sent an email over to Science of Speed for a price quote on a 10psi pulley & belt. I'd love to drop my car off there to have them do full tuning & the upgrade, but I live in Virginia and that is quite a trip.
