Seriously nice build! Congrats. It has pushed me tp aim for a PLR setup and your tuning.

Any opinions on budget PNP ECUs for AP1: AEM Infinity vs Haltech Platinum Pro?

Anyone reading this with an 06+ S2000 and want a legit MoTeC M1 full vehicle integration package contact me please. I've cracked the 06+ S2000 CAN data (including the encryption) and I can develop a full PnP ECU solution that does NOT require dual ECU'ing the car (no more leaving the stock crap ecu in the car to run your dash and get a bunch of warning lights) just like I have for the 06-15 Civic's and the 09+ 370Z's.

Would this work for EDM spec s2k's ? As our are ap2 with f20C engine and there is quite a few variations such as Ecu and airpump , etc..

The ECU's on the 06+ Civic Si and Euro Type R (FN2) are interchangeable and the dashes/abs/bcm work with no warnings, so the CAN data is the same. Knowing this it is a good bet the 06+ EDM S2K's are the exact same CAN data as the USDM 06+ and this conversion would work for you. The ECU pin out might be slightly different, but that's not a big deal when building a patch harness if you send me an ecu schematic.

Getting this package done we wouldn't have to swap cam/crank triggers to run a stand alone either (like you do now to run a dual ECU AEM on the 06+ -- this is trash, garbage, shit, whatever you want to call it, lol).

So what does this get you that FlashPro doesn't? Would you still be able to pass emissions testing with the MoTec ecu (hook up to OBD port to ready readiness monitors)?

FlashPro vs stand alone ECU? If you really have to ask then this probably isn't for you. Regardless of what ECU you're using your vehicle is not emissions compliant, FlashPro is an off road use only device and sold as such as it is NOT CARB/EPA/Emissions legal and people should realize/understand that by now.

Back up and going with a 6271! Just over 800whp on E70 and 660whp on 92 octane. 2:1 back pressure ratio so were stuck at "only" about 35psi of boost.

Well it's been a long time with no updates -- I've tested a couple of turbos and have settled on the GTX3582r Gen2! On the 2L motor it made 830whp. Unfortunately the motor suffered some oil starvation and lost compression in #4. This pushed me to upgrade to the InlinePro 2.35L motor -- they delivered a fantastic engine and I was able to make 900whp on 35.5psi using the same turbo on pump E80 fuel, with power coming about 1000rpm sooner. The power curve is amazing on this thing now and there's probably 30-40hp left as I didn't go all in with boost or the tune (nice and conservative 900hp).
