Updates to the project, got the car back on the dyno with E70 fuel. The fuel system is maxed out @ 95% duty cycle at 19.5psi or so. Below are the power charts at various boost levels.

We got 575whp/408wtq while maxing out the fuel system on E70 fuel, on the 5862.
Was this still on stock wiring? Or did you re-wire it? Also, what was your base fuel pressure? Thx.

Absolutely 100% stock wiring, just those 1200cc injectors, dw300 fuel pump in tank, AEM rail & FPR @ 60psi base pressure. I have no doubt if I gave the pump more current I could get 600whp+ out of this setup, but I bought the car used and I'm already finding all the weak spots... hard to say what this car has been through (the clutch was ragged to shit).

HG is definitely leaky, but motor is not overheating or pushing coolant. The stop leak garbage sealed up the leak that was coming down the exhaust side of the block (you could see it running down the block between the manifold runners), obviously not going to fix a HG problem, and my burp funnel confirms HG is leaking. Yay!

HG is easy enough to fix, my mind is just boggled by the leak down the block, where the hell is it seeping through to come down the block under the turbo manifold?? Nothing is getting into the oil, and no oil in the coolant that I can see so far. Fun times

Well, I've verified the block does indeed have a casting failure of some sort -- found a hairline fracture in the block that starts near the coolant drain plug and heads to the left across the webbing on the block. It leaks coolant through that fracture, and it's such a terrible spot our TIG welder won't fit to weld it up. So before I even really got to enjoy it it's getting a sleeved block.

InlinePro bottom end with Inline Pro cams & a 6465 turbo here we come...

At the rate this guy moves, it's probably happening this weekend.

In all seriousness, good luck with the rebuild. What a shitty way for a block to go.

LOL, I do like to get things taken care of quickly, leaves room in the shop for working on stuff other than my piles. InlinePro goodies should be done end of this week or so and I'll probably see them next week or early the following week. Sticking with the 5862 turbo for now, I don't want to wait on the wheel swap on the turbo, the baby 58 has a bit more steam in it, I'll use it for now. Maybe upgrade when spring comes around and I can do more with the power than slide around it the Oregon rain.

Thanks, it was a bit irritating, I'd prefer a rod through the block... lol
