She's back together.

The shifter bracket FB supplies is complete trash, it has a clearance issue and you have to get custom with it or you lose your even gears and reverse.

The 3.5" exhaust is nice lol

I've been slowly converting our 900hp 8th gen Civic Si to a MoTeC M150, and after getting the car running and initial calibration work done... I'm quite inclined to switch the S2K to the M150, the ECU is soooo much better. Check this out... 850 rpm idle with a 1.0 lambda on 2200cc injectors. The AEM Infinity doesn't even come close to this stable of an idle with those injectors (same injectors on both cars).

Excuse my ignorance, but what makes a system like the M150 or some of the other $5000+ ECUs so much better?

A combination of everything -- the hardware, the firmware, the software, level of control/configurability, the logic in the ECU, etc. The MoTeC has better I/O, more I/O, and much more configurable I/O (for example, completely adjustable digital inputs/outputs -- thresholds, hysteresis, switchable pull ups, etc). THe M1 series of ECU's also lets you write your own firmware, so you can add your own logic and control if you can program (IE: I'm scanning the CAN bus on the Civic to pull pertinent data in). The M150 will also read the active wheel speed sensors the Civics come with (they are not VR, which is all the AEM supports).

The variable timing control on the M1 is faster, more configurable, with much more resolution (IE: the table(s) have more break points, the amount of break points the Infinity comes with is a joke for K series engines). The Civic package I've been writing has true VCT & VTEC control (VE break points at configured cam break points -- this allows for much more in depth VE mapping of the ECU) -- done similar to how Honda does it on their ECU's from the factory.

The main issue I had with the Infinity on my S2k initially is when you key the car on the ABS would put a 1v shift into the wheel speed sensors, so my wheel speed pick ups in the ECU worked like crap (not at all below like 20-25mph lol) -- and I got basically a "shrug" from AEM, they didn't care. I fixed the 1v shift with some electronic trickery on my own. In the M1 it's as simple as configuring the ECU to use the proper threshold and hysteresis, no electronic trickery needed.

I can show you my S2K trying to idle at 850 rpm with 2200cc injectors at 1.0 lambda, throwing everything the AEM's got at it -- it's quite laughable compared to the rock solid idle I get with the M150.

Vit, any idea why PRL no longer lists an s2000 kit?

Looks like they still make the manifold though.

Ping me via email or w/e and I can still get the kit for you.

I went through and set it up to be roughly this:

2nd bar: 135
3rd bar: 175
4th bar: 220

all the way up to RED @ 255 ect
Is it the LS6 you use to set coolant readout on the dash? I even selected F as the primary unit but seems my coolant settings are stuck on C in the infinity software.

AEM Infinity is a great ECU... but the MoTeC M150 is another ball game altogether. MoTeC's M1 series ECU's are now my new love, lol. Converted the S2K to the M1 and it even runs and idles better.
