I'm tuning an EMS with my "stock block", RC 650cc injectors, Vortech SC, and 9psi pulley. At this point, the first pass fuel map tuning is complete. AFRs are flat under boost and full throttle at 12:1. The timing map is complete below 0psi, but is flattened under boost for safety for the 1st pass fuel tuning.

Now I'm looking for expert guidance, or an example of the timing map under boost, for a 9psi vortech setup. Max advance for 93 octane? How much to retard timing above 8Krpm? Etc.

Ideally I would like to start tuning ignition under boost with a map of the correct shape, retarded a few degrees, monitoring knock volts to dial it in. This is my first time tuning an EMS, so guidance will be appreciated.
