Hi guys,

Finally got some quiet exhaust on the car and have noticed that right at 2000 the vortech makes a really nasty rattling noise- sounds like a woodpecker.

This is not the normal rattling that the chargers make and never heard anything like this on my CTSC but maybe because they insulate it with rubber bushings and vortech doesn't?

Appreciate any feedback you guys have.

 

This is normal . My car does it and so do the other 3 vortech equipped cars i know of . It does make you cringe when it does it . It should improve once warmed up . Some sort of resinance at that rpm that is magnified by the blower . If i recall some turbo guys have this same issue .
