Vortech units that run lean

Hey I'm not gonna laugh if you can fix my problem for under a buck
I was assuming washer, but figured I'd double check.
for the idea. I'm willing to try it.

I tried different thicknesses in washers, but I have to tell you....my end result was running about 13.5-14 before on average down to 12-12.5 now after I added the washer. You might make me change my mind about selling this kit. Can anyone name a reason that this is a bad idea?

did you notice your idle being leaner? after putting a good amount of miles on it...
when I hit the gas it's MUCH richer....12-12.5 which is great
as soon as I let off the gas it jumps to about 14.5-15 and even idles at around those numbers. It seems to have made the whole thing VERY touchy. The lean got leaner and the rich got richer. AMAZING throttle response now though.

While the amount of pressure added to the rail is not negligible, it is nowhere near enough to for me to think it would cause any other kind of trouble. If you understand how the FMU works, >1/8" resistance layer is a very safe modification.
I'd like to see some other people that I saw complain about their Vortech kit being lean try this out. I have had this fix on my car for about 2 months now with 0 problems.
I'm just worried about it being so darn lean now under that 0-20% throttle range. As soon as it gets past the 20% mark the AFR drops down A LOT. so is it really safe to run the car that lean? I was richer before at that throttle range.
