Default Vortech V2 crank damper - Can I modify my own?

Hi All,
I just purchased a semi complete Vortech V2 & I'm piecing together the missing bits to i can complete the installation.

I need the crank drive pulley & the "modified" crank damper to suit.

I was wondering rather than purchasing a new damper can i modify my own?

Does anyone know for certain if all that's different is the holes drilled in it to take the drive pully or is it more than that?

You can take the crank pulley you have now and drill the holes for the "modified" pulley to sit. I recommend taking it to a place with a drill press. The holes have to be an exact depth and thread.

Yeah as said above just have a machine shop drill and tap them to fit the vortech pulley attachment.

Thanks Guys, i just wanted to make sure.

I'll be using a drill press to make sure holes are spot on.
