Factory ecu? Prolly won't fire up. Stand alone with proper start up calibration for those injectors sure can.

Can I start it up on the factory fuel pump with ID1000s? The reason I ask this is because the car is up on jack stands and I'd rather not be putting my entire body weight in the trunk and risk throwing the stands off balance. I'd like to be able to start it up, check for leaks and any torquing, then drop it down and do the fuel pump on the ground.

It's on an AEM EMS with a Vortech 3.8in Pulley tune.

I have a 3.33in pulley

I just learned the tune is actually not for this setup at all.

Does anyone have or know where I can find an SOS Stage 2 or Vortech Base tune?

This is what I think that you should do.

1. Put your stock injectors in, swap on your OEM ECU, remove your S/c belt, and bleed your cooling system (if necessary)and then check for any leaks.

2. Drive to your tuner in that configuration or tow it to there after bleeding your cooling system and installing bigger injectors and AEM EMS. Have your tuner worry about the tune.

Even with the s/c unit hooked up it will run ok? Not too restricted?

You'll be fine driving normal with the blower in place with belt removed.

Got the car finally started today.

Saw no oil leaks at idle and such, let it idle for about 10 minutes.

Now I just need to do the fuel pump, clutch, then tune time!

Should you be able to see moving coolant in the aftercooler if you open the cap?

I'm worried my pump may be malfunctioning/broken.

I'm using the Bosch Cobra pump with upgraded heat exchanger. I took the belt off the s/c system to do a little test drive, systems check, and leak check. Everything was good from that standpoint, but when I popped the hood, I noticed the aftercooler was very hot, just as hot as the intake manifold. This was with very light driving on a 80 degree day.

I know the pump is turning on, I can hear a light whine from it. and the heat exchanger seems to be cool.

I know the plumbing for the water pump is pretty confusing. Theres a good diagram floating around here somewhere...

Also, I hope you don't mind pulling the S/C off again, cause you're going to need to do so in order to do the clutch. That's why most ppl do the clutch first.
