yes and thankfully with your help. this pump runs flawless and quiet. i believe the E85 version is a little stronger than the standard 400. before my duty cycle was at 92%. now with this new pump and more HP the duty cycle is only at 80%

when you wired your 255 to the battery did you went through the factory wiring? is there a way to run your own wiring direct to the pump? im guessing you would have to drill or somethign to get wires through

My 255 was direct wired through the factory wiring coming out of the top of the housing. It ran fine for almost two years this way, but did not last a day with the Walbro 400 before it melted the relay. I'm 90% sure a small hole was drilled through the housing to run the power and ground wires through to the pump itself. If I ever get around to looking back there again, I will confirm and post up. Its just a PITA to work back there and I don't feel like taking the cover off again to confirm this is how mine is setup (I didn't do the final wiring).

Again, you can hardwire the 255 to the stock wiring at the top of the housing and it should be fine. But nothing bigger than a 255.

i did the walbro 400 (e85) install over the weekend...i drilled a tiny hole to run the wires through the top hat and siliconed it up. this pump is definitely a tight fit in there with the stock fuel filter sock. lol i must say it is a really quiet pump!

I used industrial zip ties...so hopefully it does. I think it will cuz the filter is so tight against the bottom of the tank it's squeezing it under the top hat

That doesn't sound right.

why not Spectacle?? i thought it would be normal because my car was originally tuned on the 340 pump. i think im going to have to take my pump back out.... unlike supradriver i dont think my zip ties are anything special and im afraid it will dissolve in my tank. ill be replacing it with stainless steal zip ties.
