Walbro 400 fuel pump install
why not Spectacle?? i thought it would be normal because my car was originally tuned on the 340 pump. i think im going to have to take my pump back out....
unlike supradriver i dont think my zip ties are anything special and im afraid it will dissolve in my tank. ill be replacing it with stainless steal zip ties.

Thought I should post some pics of the install of the E85 version of this pump. Hope you don't mind spectacle.
Comparison between walbro 255 and 400

Hole I drilled so I could run a zip tie through and secure the plug. (This plug is specific to the e85 version of the 400.

Ready to go back in the tank. Notice you have to drill a small hole in the top to run your wires through.

Installed and ready to be wired up.

Keep in mind passing the wires through as you show is not recommended as the fuel can wick through the stranded copper wire in the insulation. While this may be a minimal amount of fuel, the concern would be the small amount of fuel turning in to vapor and igniting from spark of electrical components (such as the relay). A hermetically sealed connector (like what the factory carrier uses) is recommended.
