Injector Dynamics did step up and replace everbodies injectors, I went with 2000s. I did loose all the tuning money though.

Walbro has had it's fair share of problems too.

Oh yeah, forgot about that. I don't see that those were a necessary product though. If the 2000s idle just as well and cost the same.

The 2000's do not idle as well as the 1600's. Tony did step up to replace them though. I went with the 1600s and spent a lot of money tuning the 1600's for nothing also. The 1600s were good for e85 with the idle quality of the 1000s. Its a shame they were shitty injectors.

Daryl is right, these are no where near as good as the 1600s, atleast on kpro. The 1600s ran just like the 1000s, perfect idle and part throttle. The 2000s have to have the idle kicked up, some idling as high as 1300rpm. My car also has surging issues, stalls randomly which is really frustrating. Also has a hard time recovering from the rpms dropping to idle.

Got the hangar modified, took about 5 minutes with a dremel, will post pics when I get to a computer.

Too bad kpro cant control more injectors; I would just run id1000s as primaries and id2000s as secondaries.

I will likely be modding mine this week as well when I get some time to pull my FB340 out. I'll post results. I was running out of pump with the 340 so hopefully this will allow me to lower my duty cycle quite a bit and run more boost.

Did you max out the 340 at 477whp? Sounds low, sure the pump is the problem?

Yea I know it is low. I'm not 100 percent on the pump being the issue, but I do know that my fuel pressure dropped down to 45ish psi by redline. I'm running a base pressure of 65psi. I've tested the regulator and it is fine. If anything the walbro 400 wont hurt me! This was on e85 btw.

Have you upgraded the wiring to the fuel pump? Or checked voltage?

These newer high-flow in-tank pumps pull a little more amperage than the stocker and W255...and they like voltage.

If it seems like you are maxing out the pump before you should, you might check to see if you are getting enough juice to the pump.

Heres one for ya....this happened to me....!

Due to the higher pressure of the FB-340 pump, at the top / near redline rpm, the pressure was great enough to actually expand the OEM hose clamps coming off of the small 2" fuel line on the in-tank pump. This was causing a huge fuel pressure drop at higher rpm's....and leaned out / misfire if thats what you're describing

To fix the issue we swapped out the OEM squeeze style clamps for the type that screw down. This completely fixed the fuel pressure drop at high rpm issue....now the FB-340 pump holds steady all the way through the rising rate to 85-psi WOT @ full boost.
