Dude that sucks about your top, I guess insurance will buy you a new one. I am sure it cause you kick some guys ass in a race. Also another member on here had a problem with his AEM and sent it back of a new part. I hope it all works out of the best. Maybe ask Toan for your old map and download it so you can run boost with out the meth.

wow dude. that sucks big time.

to make it worse, your top gets slashed.

****ing low lives. i suppose u do get what you pay for with the aquamist. in this case, aems fail safe appears to be useless. hmm, though i like sgtb's idea of a pressure switch. linky?

In all fairness to AEM, it did start blinking so it did notifly me something was wrong and today before I removed it, it did the same thing so it does know when its broken,

I wonder if Mr. Evans (using AEM Stand alone) can do two MAPS, one for MEthanol and one with just pump, this way If need be I can run the Water/Meth, and during normal DD I can just use the Pump gas tune

it is pretty simple to setup the ems so that it will run fine w/the water/meth and run fine when its not.

long before aem had their kit we had a homemade kit and used a Hobbs switch before the nozzle. if there was no pressure the ems wouldn't switch to high boost. We had the hobos switch wired up to one of the switched inputs on the ems, that switch triggered high boost. There was a separate on-off switch for the water setup. When there was pressure it would automatically kick it into high boost, no pressure, no high boost.

I haven't used the aem kit so idk how the pressure sensor works on it.
