Well I'm at 500KMs on my ptuning boost kit. Just right now I noticed at partial throttle my waste gate will open and close. I'm running on a base map and going for a full tune on saturday. This never happend before so I'm wondering if anything got messed up or is it normal..? I can't see the waste gate on the p tuning kit from underneath the hood so I can't tell if anything is disconnected from it. Thanks

 

Are you going into boost at the time of it opening? Is it an ebay wastegate or a name brand?

 

Maybe its just me, but it sounds pretty impossible to open a wastegate a partial throttle. Get under the car and look at it to make sure its still in one piece.

 

How can you tell? or is there an exhaust leak?

 

vacuum leaks can be almost as fun to find as electrical shorts.

 

took the car out today its not doing it no more.
