The weka link as stated above are the end caps that hold the ring in. Hopefully Rick will have the replacement for the CT pieces soon.

I am just wondering which of the parts is actually the one that needs to be replaced. I am going turbo and want to strengthen the rear end. But what part of the rear end is it? The actual differential or the gears or the housing?? If its the diff what is a good brand and setting to purchase?? Cusco 1.5?? How much would it cost to drop the rear end put the gears in and set it into the housing and put it all back on?? I know its alot but thanks in advance anyway.
So what you guys are saying is that the s2k rear end is useless above stock hp. You can't upgrade the lsd, diff, housing, and gears and be alright at 400hp?? I just can't see spending 5000 dollars to fix the rear end. There has to be a more cost effective way, while still enjoying the throttle.

remember at 400 rwhp you've doubled the rwhp output. That's a lot to do to any differential. You give me your old dif and 5grand and I'll make 3 grand and you'll have a stronger differential.

You don't need replace the lsd. Those are strong. gears,,,600 bucks install 400 bucks comptech piece if you want it, 300 bucks. cyro 250 bucks. You could probably but a newer dif at 600.

But yes I don't care what car you buy, if you're playing with that kind of proportional hp increase and you want to build for the long term, you go to spend some bucks.

Honda should have known better. Not all vehicles have to have the rear ends changed out or any other parts for that matter with increased hp, even if it is doubled.

So the lsd and gears are fine?? that means I just have to change the diff and pumpkin...

In discussions of this topic with Woodwork a few years back he said the pinions were the most common part to break. He should know.
