Default At what boost did your ignition system fail?

I got the car on the dyno again today.
With a Trust T67 turbo, it reached ignition problem at 20psi.
I used NGK 8 with 8mm gap.

The car still make extremely good power at 16psi. Getting traction is extremely difficult. Thanks god I have a 1.5way diff to control the car when it sidewalks

I will rig up the AEM C2DI next week for another dyno run.

So at what boost did you blow the candle and with what turbo?

I've seen a 60-1 car have pretty serious ignition problems over 15psi. Remote MSD coils and DIS-4 solved them.

I used NGK 8 with 8mm gap.
If your pistons havent done so already, you may want to close up the gap a bit.

(sorry but couldnt help myself)

I could be worth trying plugs with a slightly recessed nose. ( NGK 5671A-8)

I think that are the plugs I am using atm Chris.
The bearings are still ok at the moment, so let's hope that pistons won't touch anything else out of the ordinary.

I will be replacing them with IK27 and CBR 954 coils when I have a bit more time this week or next.

chris, I just checked the box
the plugs are NGK 5672A-8

Is there any difference between this and NGK 5671A-8?
