300HP in a Supercharger may not be all that exciting. I am guessing here and will be the first to admit I really don't know but being you need to be at or near Redline for the ful potential of a Comptech supercharger your car may not feel all that much different, anyone know what the TRQ numbers are when it comes to a comptech superhcarged 300HP car?

When I beat on my car I hardly every take it past 6,000RPMS, unless of course I am racing or something, but the low-end HP and TRQ of a smaller Turbo (Like the GReddy) is a lot of fun for someone who isnt lookign for insanely big numbers.

I will say leaving yourself options is always a good idea./.....

I am going to be installing a VTSC w/ 8lbs pulley, ricks header, Berk hi flow cat, and HKS exhaust. AEM EMS tuned at sea level the first week of Jauary. Depending on how soon you want to install your i will post up my results asap. So if you want, wait and see. My only suggestin to you is have a clutch standing by

i went with the ACT street clutch and lightweight flywheel. I would of went Fadenza or however you spell it for the FW cause it is .6-.8 lbs lighter. But they were out of stock

I am not sure why you want a comptech supercharger honestly. They are more expensive, and for a lot less money you will be able to get an SOS system which appears to be a better kit (at least that is what they claim). You can get a kit soon for $4900 aftercooled and $3900 non if that is really want you want.

What you have listed as mods, like the 10psi pulley etc will get you 360-380whp at the wheels, plus the extra you mentioned is going to cost you a fair piece of change...not to mention tuning. If all you want is 300whp then you do not need the pulley aem ems etc. Get the direct bolt on kit, it will be a lot cheaper and do yourself a favor, get the aftercooled kit, especially if you want to upgrade later!

lol, go past 6000rpm man! there's this thing called VTEC that'll kick in and make the car a lot more fun!

that's why I mentioned the SOT supercharger kit, more trq to the wheels with their lowest boost kit at 2200rpm than all-motor makes at peak the stock exhaust is holding this kit back right now, it will be about 15whp higher once the new exhaust is on, this is the 6.5 psi kit...

DON'T get the Greddy kit! there's other more capable kits that spool just as quickly but can make more power is you decide to upgrade.

i think TJ has been eyeballing the used comptech kits (non-ac, ac, intercooled). a few of them have been selling in the two thousands range (less than three grand). i too have been watching the classifieds but i'm also awaiting the non-ac sos kit and what their intro pricing will be. there is however an ac vortech tuner kit (no fmu, injectors, pump but has the aftercooler) for $3800 though to counter sos non-ac kit...
