Yes us DSM guys do love copper . They conduct easier and are also cheaper then iridium so its a simple choice for me Now i don't run em just because im a cheap butt as i do drive a 750WHP EVO for my daily and also a GSXR 1000 etc etc and they arent cheap rides by ANY means.... I suggested them just to save Chad a little $ and get a little advantage on the stock ignition as copper does conduct easier. I have no problems with Chad running the iridium plugs... hey if they work they work! As long as hes not getting blow out im a happy camper But he is always running low on $ so i thought id try and save him some $ and "cheat" the stock ignition a little by suggesting he look into some copper plugs

I have had lots of issues with dataloggers and ignition systems using non-resistor plugs in hondas.

I use the bkr8eix or bkr9eix in nearly everything turbo and they always work good. they are pretty cheap too -- around 7-8 bux at advance.

if you dont want a copper plug, just take the IX off the end.

I swear I didnt tell him about this Carey! Adam must have been looking around and saw it. Its cool though, he knows you arent trying to go against what he likes or believes, just by your experience.

Could you elaborate the better spark argument on the copper plugs? Where can I find this information confirmed? In my world it doesnt add up, I am of the understanding that a thinner electrode offers more consistent ignition.
Thats awesome man! Thanks for posting that up. That clearly shows that the iridium plugs with a smaller tip have a more controlled spark.
