Default What turbo do u have on your Log manifolds?

Well currently im in a situation where i had smoking issues. I took it to my tuner to work on to replace my oil return into a new area to return faster with less oil being backed up.. Got it down added an after market oil cooler since my stock on was taken out due to the greddy oil relocator. Took it out for a drive and my car still smoking like crazy which im guessing my turbo seal has gone bad. Im currently looking for a new turbo. I had realize that its A turbonetics BB unit and gonna go with a journal bearing turbo next. Only thing this turbo is ancient and im going to have to rip it apart to find the specs on it.

Basically im wondering what size do u have have on your car. I have a bottom mount log manifold ad since theres space being an issue i am currently wanting to know what you guys have put on for an option. i got to find a caliper and measure the compressor and etc. only thing i have looked at so far is that it has 2.75 inch inlet .63 and is ball bearing..

So please help me find some options i can use for my next purchase before winter hits! thanks

Thanks.

You can find them used for around $700-$800 if you shop around though. Well worth it IMO. I would highly recommend trying to save up and splurge for it if at all possible. You will thank yourself in the future.

i was thinking about going journal bearing due to the fact if the turbo fails i could be able to rebuild it for cheaper. yes the pro with BB units it seems they do have a slight better spool then journal bearing, but i understand where your coming from pay for what ya get
