OP, what did you end up doing? Thought I share what I have on MY 00
Currently running CTSC at 8psi, stock injectors, CT piggyback, bored throttle body, 60mm WS2 catback, stock internals (header, cams, etc), ACT clutch, and making 320whp 290wtrq.
I too was very concerned about smog, still am, but all is good cause CTSC is carb legal in So. Cal. I plan to upgrade my EMS ( maybe AEM Infinity) and injectors.
PS: Sjunky, you are the man. Always enjoy your knowledge.

^^^ Thanks. I just share what I know and my experiences if it can help some people. Trying to help keep the dream alive with this website
BTW since this thread I did find a nice low mile used SOS supercharger, and managed to find a RRFPR with a google search, from a member here years ago who still had one collecting dust so I could make it a functional stage 1 system. Tuning with my old trusty NEO and running a custom water/meth injection system. Running 7.5-8psi as well. Really enjoying it after being NA for the last 3 years or so. I don't have any plans of upping the boost again.

You'd have to be enjoying that Sunday cruise, your S is probably fun to drive. Do you get a lot of rear wheel spin / fishtailing? That can be pretty narly!
Did you ever consider running e85 (flex fuel conversion)?
That’s something (e85) I have consider doing in the far future. Like you, keeping it at around 8psi nothing more.
Ive recently purchased a used Comptech header (4-1) to compliment the CT-Engineering SC (Novi 1220, wish I had the 1200). What are your thoughts in regards that header?

No never considered E85. we don't have that here where I live. I also am not running an EMS, so that's taking me down a road I wasn't interested in for that reason as well.
Never run 4 into1 header on this car. Comptech is about the only one I've heard of that uses that design. Id really like to see a before and after dyno with it. Stock header works well.
