As title says. What is the power ceiling for the DBW 06+ fuel pump before it needs to be replaced.

Thanks for the input

I looked it up once but don't completely remember, but if your shooting for higher than I think 500 you will need to change the fuel system. The biggest thing hindering the 06+ from making more power out of the stock line is that we don't have a return system. Reason being I went with the full blown complete fuel system.

Thanks for the input. The searching that I've done says about the same. I'm getting a dyno tune tonite and just wanted to be prepared with some info for the tuner. I don't think ill be touching past 400

Specs are 2006 with SOS stage 2, upgraded h/e, ID 1000 injectors, sos sport clutch, and turbosmart kompact bov. Stock exhaust, headers, and fuel pump. Tuned using Flash pro on 10.6psi. Final dyno made 414whp. Dyno tune went really well, then we started doing a little street tuning and then my IAT's went upwards of 130 degrees. Tuner wasn't used to have the IAT sensor outside the intake manifold. Anyhow car feels great, fuel pump did just fine, no dips at red line.

Nice numbers! You are running the stock fuel pump not an upgraded fuel pump like a walbro? How's the car feel on the street, any improvement in the lower rpms over stock?

Stock fuel pump and lines. Only upgraded injectors. Car feels great on the street. Good low end power, very adequate for street. Just went checked my belt again and tightened it. Belt must have been slipping a little on the dyno, datalog and gauge is showing 12.6 psi at redline after re-tightening the belt. I'm on a 3.2psi pulley with Novi 1200, however i'm at 5200 altitude.

Good to know the stock pump may be is able to flow that much. I wanted to do some e85 testing before swapping pumps.

P.S. Watch out for aircraft...
