Default What's the quietest 3" exhaust for turbo?

What's the quietest/minimal drone 3" exhaust for a turbo setup? I wanted to keep the stock exhaust with boost, but I was told the gains moving to a 3" exhaust are worth it. Seeing as how the car is just a fun car, I guess I can handle some more noise (not like it's super quiet to begin with).

I see there's an HKS 75mm, Berk 3", not sure what else. I've been searching the forums and seems like people go with custom setups as well. A big concern referencing old threads is what's actually still available. I see Ptuning made one, SOS was supposed to come out with one (not sure if they ever did). I'm assuming dual exhausts would be quieter than singles, but not sure by how much. Nice thing about a single is less weight. If anyone has some thoughts on this or links to good comparisons it'd be much appreciated!

I’ve been using the Berk 3” cat-less and like it a lot. It’s apparently really loud NA but not bad at all with the turbo. Cost was good too.

I have an HKS single and it sounds amazing with my turbo. It's much more quiet now than it was NA, at least until the WG opens.

Im still n/a but i have the 75mm HKS single with a test pipe on my ap2 and i love it. It does drone a bit between 3-4000 rpm when cruising on the highway roughly 55-70mph. I would also think having a turbo will help knock down alot of that noise too. For the most part its loud when i want it and quiet when i want it.

Thanks. I'm always hesitant of others' opinions simply because one person's loud is another person's quiet. I'm not running a WG dump to atmosphere so I won't have that problem. I saw KingTut used to run an HKS single, and sounds good in his videos, but hard to judge how loud..

Yep, it really is. Recording equipment, methods used, etc. are all factors as well. I would invite you to take a spin so you'd get an idea but I think you are on the opposite coast from me.

Boost-actuated exhaust cut out. Set to open above 7 psi would be a good choice. That way you can go full throttle in 1st and 2nd gear without any unnecessary noise and can focus on traction. And get full power and noise when fully in it.

3 inch to a dual 2.5 is about as quiet as it gets.
