This is what I'm useing. Works great with my aem v2 and my zextronics ethanol gauge.

http://paceperformance.com/i-8396465...r-harness.html

That's the harness for $10

http://paceperformance.com/i-1080149...ensor-e85.html

That's the sensor.

Thanks boss.

I was thinking, since I have a the AEM serial guage, 18-1, or 19-1 whatever it is, shouldn't I be able to output the sensor via my AEM v2 to the guage so I wouldn't need the external display??

If so, has anyone done that?
The FlexFuel Content parameter wasn't designed to output on the AEM serial data stream (it doesn't output exactly what the content is in a usable unit). We made this work with the gaugeART by using a calculation built in to the processing of the unit (it's now available as a simple drop down selection in the gaugeART software). We don't think there is an easy way to make this work with the AEM Serial Gauge.

Heck, if I could get it to work on my current AEM guage, I'd order up and get that flex fuel kit you offer right now...but if not, and I need to pony up an additional $200 for the zex display, I'll be forced to cheap out and get the sensor/harness only.

I don't see why if the sensor can output to the AEM, and it understands how the voltage table corresponds to an ethanol % for example, why it can't pass that telemetry out to the gauge just like it does for oil pressure, map, or iat for example, among many other things like ect, knock, load, etc.

You just cut a few inches out of your fuel return and put the sensor in the middle of the fuel return.

I agree with SoS, those fittings add up really fast. I have always been a believer in you get what you pay for and have never bought used unless I know the owner. NIB is always better becuase it carrys a warranty. SoS may cost a little more but its totally worth it, the R&D they put into products and the fact that they will stand behind their products all the way. Their flex fuel kit is what I will be using and having them install, SoS FTW

No, outputting the sensor into an AEM 19-1 serial gauge, so you wouldn't have to buy the $200 dollar display.
