new (modded stock) intake manifold installed recently and new INLINE PRO T4 sidewinder manifold, and arp exhaust studs going in next month. hoping 450ish stock motor 10psi on pump gas and 550ish stock motor, stock CR on c16

i shop somewhat local to me in florida LHT performance out of tampa. their owner was parting out the car so i picked it up for like 300 plus my stock IM. the runners are just slightly ported to smooth things out and remove casting marks. the power really comes from the custom plenum the fabbed up. the stock IM first runner is longer than 2,3,4 so they cut the stock plenum off where all runners are even and fabbed up the custom plenum to the stock runners. the said they had 2 designs , 1na, 1 boost which have been tried and true. (supposed he's a salesmen so who knows) i'd say the plenum is almost twice the volume of stock.

I believe the first intake runner being a tad bit longer and them getting shorter as you go back is by design because the first runners get the air first and being shorter as you go back to runner four should help with TQ. Maybe I'm wrong though, but I believe this is by design and making them all the exact same could cause some TQ loss.

maybe true, but if you look at any aftermarket manifold for the s2k, the first runner is always equal from what i can tell. i guess its not as big of a issue with larger plenum

the one thing I am getting done is getting a goddamn head unit hat has a AUX input so I can listen to my IPOD. By far the highest priority within the next few months. The spring project will be direct port METH

I'm pissed right now because my Alpine head unit can play my ipod but not my damn iphone. I need to get this taken care of so that i can listen to Pandora!

trying to go 12.99 na on internally stock motor/gears

at the same time piecing together pfab elt 6262 setup looking for 500whp on pump...

wont be there till spring/summer 2011 which doesnt bother me, i have plenty of time to do things exactly how i want them...
