Default Where to find some boost

I'm actually looking to invest a little money to get my S boosted!

Main Concern --> Reliability
Second Concern --> Performance
Last Concern --> Price

My budget; 3,500 - 4,000$ for a complete kit.
Of course I will have to look for used kit; however I'm willing to have less performance as long as it's reliable. I'm more of a "street" racer type, but my S2K is NOT my daily drive. I drive it about 5,000 miles per summer and its store in a garage all winter. Not to mention days I work, and rainy days.

Anyone wants to share some stuff I should be looking for when I'm buying a used kit?
Some website I should be looking to find some kits?
Is 4k enough to get a used Turbo kit that would be reliable?

Thanks in advance

I bet you could find a used s/c without an aftercooler and maybe get e-manage or something for a tune, or just run it stock but you might as well spend a few hundred more to get the car running stronger and safer.

I would recomend a SC kit vz. a turbo kit. you are able to get good Hp and TQ out of a SC kit. But take a look your self.. here are some links..

Watch out for the ebay SC kits.. there have been alot of scams going on with them.. What I would do is buy it from a Local S2ki member on here.

I think there are a few still for sale... Post up on the Want to Buy forum and I am sure some one will PM you back

If interested I would sell you a brand new turbo kit with ems, and 650 injectors and everything else necessary to get you boosted for 4000

Anyone have a turboed daily driver? I am curious as to if a turbo setup left at low boost (6-9) would be reliable enough?

I know a couple of Turbos daily S.. and with low boost you should be fine.. as long as you have someone that knows about turbo put your kit in.. then you should have no problems...
