how thick is the frm coating on a stock cylinder? I don't think you can bore it at all without completely wasting it. In that case any after market piston would work because it wouldn't be coated anymore. I could be wrong and please say if i am.

x2.

just a super picky honda sleeve that is annoying. god if it was just friggin iron we could toss in pistons so much easier.

figures i go from a h22 frm motor to a s2k frm motor. ghey.

OT: I heard talk of the Mahle pistons for the F20C in the works, but I haven't heard anything more.. Does anybody else have any information regarding these? I find that the FRM designs have been proven with FRM sleeves, and seem like a viable sollution for a low-compression engine that isn't too expensive.

Okay, sorry, back on topic!

But wadzii you said they were the NA high comp ones that are out, correct? If you're putting together a low comp motor then please post the results in here!!!

mine are high compression, but they do offer low compression as well. there are parts avalible from 8.5:1 up to 14:1 depending on which crank you use.

the low compression parts are made from 2618 alloy, the high compression parts are 4032
