S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Why is it that my car failed on the dyno?

so D-BO was this the first time on the dyno since the build? also how many pulls were done before it blew?

Also was this a pump gas tune or a higher octane?

yes. first time on the dyno. it was about 3 hours in. some partial throttle tuning was done. did about 2 or 3 pulls WOT and the motor blew. the wastegate line popped off. the first map was the map pulled from the aem immediately

sorry it was on 93 octane. 14psi was the wastegate spring so that was the target

So he's claiming he witnessed the wastegate line pop off and he pulled his foot off the throttle immediately after he saw it? I don't really see this even being possible, especially with the hood popped and him in the drivers seat. Considering the damage that was done, I doubt he even noticed it was overboosting until it was too late. Too bad he wasn't logging..

Regardless, after part collecting and getting into the process of installing all my gear, I can't imagine how furious I would be in your shoes. Sorry to hear it man.

I agree with Joe though, you are lucky to have such a great tuner within driving distance to you. If us down here in Texas / OK had the option to visit Jeff Evans, considering all the praise he gets around here, I wouldn't think twice about going anywhere else.

you should tow it to jeff's shop to set next to Joey's car. let him rebuild the motor. Unless you are mechanically inclined to pull the engine and do all your own labor. then more power to you.

Luckily some good people on here bought all of my parts off of me and i'm able to move forward now.i still have some stuff left like the bottom end, head, tranny and stock rear but i will be doing an LSx swap in the upcoming weeks.

Plus my car would look like some POS next to joey's

Man I'm sorry to hear about all this. I'm about to boost my car in the next few months and this really scares me. It's good to see you're not letting it get you down though!!!
