How do you remove the belt? I can give that a shot to test out the gauge.
When you loosen that bolt, the tensioner will release and you will be able to remove the belt without much trouble at all. To put it back on and tighten, you will need a pry bay of some length. A second person is helpful, but not necessary. Tighten it until you can only twist the belt about 90*.

No, I haven't retighten the belt since it was first installed at the beginning of June. Think 1 1/2 mo, and about 2k miles will stretch the belt that much?
I'll check the 90* twist of the belt.
