Why NOT Boost?
Thanks for all the feed back guys. I am guessing a SC is the way to go. The one nagging question I have is the impact to the long term life of the car. I suspect that a mild boost would not have much impact.

Isn't this well above a "base/moderate" boost level? Wouldn't that put extra stress on the motor? I thought stock boost levels on a SC were like 8-9 PSI.

Nah, if you have a base / moderate boosted supercharged s2k you will be fine. I'm about to supercharge my car at 12-13psi with 140k miles on the odometer and have full expectations to blast into 200k miles at 9k rpms

The stock motor takes a surprising amount of pressure given a good tune. I would DD a SC set up at any boost level, however I wouldn't SC the car at all if it was your only mode of transportation.
