So this morning on my way into work i contacted the vendor and expalined the situation to. They proceeded to contact AEM since they say the warrantee is through them and AEM sent them/me a RMA number to return the ECU to them in california. I guess the way it works is once the receive the ECU in within 3 business days they will contact both me and the vendor letting us know what the issue(if any) was and if it is covered under warrantee. I did have to pay to ship it to them which kinda sucked but oh well. Im just hoping it is sometihng covered under warrantee! If not i guess they will hit me with a diagnostic fee and repair cost. Anyone have them do ecu work before and know their pricing???
So if it turns out to be a AEM issue which i assume it will be im starting to think what would have caused it in the first place? A voltage spike... lack of relay/fuse... Knowing the AEM is broke is only half the battle. Now knowing what caused the issue in the first place is the major concern.

yes. i had the battery taken out and on a trickle charge. It wouldnt hold a charge when i tried a 200amp start on my craftsman jump pack so i ended up replacing the battery.

I knew it.
Blown injector drivers when you jumped it.
My aem went bad when I did the same. 6dollar fix in the link I posted.
Jumping with another car/battery doesn't seem to cause an issue as I have done this countless times too. Shortly after I got a starter/charger and used that, it began to miss fire.
The drivers are only rated for 60 amps I believe off the top of my head, but spikes from these starters can go well beyond that.
Don't know why it happens. Could be hit or miss. But now I only jump with my civic if needed, and disconnect the S battery when charging.
