Called competition on friday, gave them the dimensions and they said they would call me back. My friend talked to them shortly after I did and they told him they didnt write down my number so they never called me. Called on tuesday, left my number again no call back. Call this morning and got a guy on the phone and he said that a spacer wouldnt work I would need a flywheel and it would probably cost a grand. I called around 630 my time and they called me back around 11 when I was sleeping (work 3rd shift) and he said the spacer would have to be 75-80mm thick? I was half asleep but I'm gonna try again tomorrow cause thats over a 3in spacer when it only needs to be a total of 2.2in from the crank to the splines, so either they took the numbers down wrong, or are trying to price themselves out of it maybe. I dont think the spacer would have to be more than 1.25ish thick so we'll see what they say tomorrow. Hoping to have it all done in one shot but if I have to I'll just buy a clutch with nissan discs and have someone make the spacer.

Talked to comp again, actually talked about everything got it figured out and with a custom flywheel and all the other parts that would come with a clutch $1900 done.

And got the plate.

So maybe I'm a retard and can't read through lines very well lol but what exactly is 1900 a price figure for? Just the clutch kit? Or the adapter plates too? Lol I'm confused.

I think this tranny would work great in the s2, Nissan has always used good,STRONG transmissions in their skylines etc. The only thing I could think negative is the rpm as everyone else says but I would think it will take the extra 1500-2000 more revolutions. I just watched a YouTube video of an NA built one also using stock tranny turning 7850 , 320 whp though. High rpms and big numbers could yield dissapointing, but in my mind either way it's the only alternative anyway, and will undoubtedly be a better solution than popping stock trannies, or forking out 10 grand, for mid range turbo guys. Get this thing together!

1900 hopefully less tho for just the clutch setup made for the conversion, the conversion plate and hardware was 494 shipped. Also gonna send and email or call liberty about faceplating gears 2, 3 and 4 and how much it would cost.

^ Hope this turns into a viable option for people not able to pay 7-10k for a transmission option. I'm following this closely as i just blew 3rd gear while road racing my car at Pocono.

My friend got a 350z with a 8000rpm rev limit and that´s no problem, hope it will handle another 1000rpm.

Will do this as well, do we have a sponsor selling the adapter plate?
