Picked up a used AP1 valve cover from liquid_helix136 (THANKS BRA), stripped most of it clean and started shaving and dressing it up.

Bought some fabric heat shrink to do the harness with. I think its going to turn out pretty nice, Iv got a long way to go though. Regular heat shrink wont work on the ends because you cant slip it over the fabric. I just ordered some 3:1 dual wall adhesive stuff that should do the trick and clean it up.

I have decided to sell it once the new one is ready to go. This one will be equally as crazy looking but with more thought put into bung placement and shaving ports. I was surprised at how rough the OEM cover really is once you strip the color off. Will take a good bit of sanding and shaving to get it perfect.

After some heavy thinking I decided this was the best location for the breather lines. Each bung will be located behind the tabs on the inside.
Also shaved the marks off a bit more. One more final sanding and ports welded up and shel be ready for some color.

For future reference this is what you have to do to your fender/headlight supports to fit the 3in piping of the inlinepro kit. My friends noticed my headlights bounce ever since I cut the supports. Finally picked up some used ones.

Can we expect your VC to be as "colorful" as the last one? Hahaha going with the pink?
